DENAS UNIVERZÁL SATIN is a water-based satin finish paint designed for coatings of construction components and structures made of wood, metal, construction materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, select types of plastics, laminated particleboard, ceramic tiles with silane or drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatment of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is also suitable for food contact. The applied coatings exhibit high resistance, do not become brittle or chalky due to UV radiation and weather influences, and withstand common household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces achieve exceptional mechanical resistance and long durability in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also complies with hygiene requirements for products intended for food and drinking water contact, established by the MZČR Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white bases. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's facility.
Procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, unsound layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1 anti-corrosive primer, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with suitable impregnating agents with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, perform the coating in 1-2 layers with a penetrating agent and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation in the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
