DENAS UNIVERSAL SATIN is a satin finish water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roof tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and demonstrate a long service life both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under intended conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, stipulated by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure the product's compliance with technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metallic surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE for METAL or DENAS for METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting wood used outdoors to a depth with an appropriate impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 layers of penetrating agent followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
When used as intended, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.
Disposal of waste:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid/top.
