DENAS UNIVERZÁL-SATIN topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0120 anthracite, 0.7 kg

DENAS UNIVERZÁL SATIN is a semi-matt water-based topcoat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, veneer, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to the action of cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit a long lifespan in both interiors and exteriors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets sanitary requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12, and also meets sanitary requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated in Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the product's compliance with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2-in-1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERZÁL topcoat in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying 1–2 layers depending on the wood's absorbency. Then proceed with the topcoat using undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Wood in the exterior is recommended to be protected to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, protect with a penetrant in 1–2 layers and then apply the DENAS UNIVERZÁL topcoat in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and atmospheric humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid/cap.
