DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal as well as galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011, Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by the MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001, as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when toning outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of previous coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS 2IN1 for METALS, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and this in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in exteriors should be protected to a depth with a suitable impregnation agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a penetrating agent in 1-2 layers and then with the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in its original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
