DENAS UNIVERZÁL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0120 roof anthracite, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a water-based topcoat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and have a long lifespan in both interiors and exteriors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its current wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer’s premises.

Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint at a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers, considering the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the topcoat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in the exterior is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal action. Protect mineral substrates with a coating in 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and then with the topcoat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
