DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0100 white, 0.3 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for painting building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with added silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effect of UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and demonstrate long durability in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the conditions of designated use and meets the hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by MZ ČR Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. Compliance of certificates is not guaranteed during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting to a depth with suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done by painting with a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers, followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
