DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0100 white, 0.3 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-dilutable topcoat suitable for coatings on construction structures and elements made of wood, metals, concrete, fresh galvanized sheet metal as well as galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, drywall or ceramic tiles with the addition of silane. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and also has certification for contact with food. The created film is characterized by high resistance, it does not chalk or become brittle under the influence of weather conditions and UV radiation, and it reliably withstands common household cleaning agents. The treated surface exhibits high mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as defined by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting wood outdoors with a suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done with a coat of 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent followed by the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene practices while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with copious amounts of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usable properties in the original unopened packaging for a minimum until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
