DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0421 light blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dispersible paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roof tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, melamine, ceramic cladding with a silane additive, drywall. It meets the surface treatment standard for products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid form for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures that ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. First, unify wooden substrates using DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then carry out the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For wood in the exterior, we recommend protecting it to a depth with an appropriate impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying a primer in 1–2 layers and then the top covering paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, flush with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paints and soiled containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usability characteristics in the original unopened container for at least until the date printed on the lid.
