DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, drywall. It meets the standard for the surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, Part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather exposure, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, Part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set by Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE for METAL or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and do this in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood outdoors should be protected to depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying a penetrating agent in 1-2 layers and subsequently the top covering paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
