Sokrates Lazurit Forte wood stain, base, 4 kg

Sokrates Lazurit Forte wood stain is a water-based stain designed for outdoor and indoor environments, for industrial production or for craftsmanship. It protects wood from UV radiation. It creates matte surfaces. Modified linseed oil gives the stain very good penetration properties. It minimizes moisture penetration into the wood. The surface of Lazurit FORTE resists attacks from mold and fungi. It prevents their further growth into the wooden substrate. Excellent high durability – 10 years or more. The coating material is not intended for direct contact with food, feed, and drinking water!

Drying:

For handling within 6 hours. Recoatable from 6 to 16 hours. Additional coat after 24 hours.

Usage:

Sokrates Lazurit Forte wood stain is intended for top coatings of outdoor wooden cladding of buildings, pergolas, fences, cabins, etc. In interiors, it is used for coating ceilings, wall paneling, beams in attics, and similar applications. Always sand the surface of the wood before applying for outdoor use with sandpaper No. 60 - 80. A smooth wood surface is unsuitable. Though Lazurit FORTE is not a special coating material for wooden floors, it is still very suitable for coatings of outdoor wooden floors with an appropriate non-slip relief. For example, around swimming pools, porches of cabins, and similar places. It withstands weather influences much longer than oils. The recommended combination is 2x Lazurit FORTE, or 1x Lazurit FORTE and 1x Lazurit plus. The combination with Lazurit Plus increases resistance to abrasion and washability of the surface. Where there is a risk of wood damage from moisture due to wood-destroying fungi, the wood must be treated with Lignofix E plus, especially with pine, before applying the stain. Another biocidal preparation must be tested beforehand. Footwear soiled with sand damages the surface. Soiled surfaces should not be scrubbed, especially when wet, with hard brushes. Free drainage of water must be provided from the surface of the floor. Non-absorbent woods with a high tannin content significantly prolong drying and are therefore unsuitable substrates – oak, acacia, bankirai, etc.

Application:

SOKRATES® Lazurit FORTE should be applied with a brush or roller at a minimum temperature of the coating material, air, and substrate of +10 °C and throughout the drying period. Excess, unabsorbed coating material must be removed with a brush. Recommended application temperature: +18 °C to +23 °C

Diluent:

Water.

Cleaning tools:

With water, dried paint can be removed with organic solvents.
