Farmer's paint - Covering paint based on modified shellac with oil in water. Extremely penetrating water-dilutable wood paint intended for both hobby and professional use in indoor and outdoor environments. Significantly beautifies wood and perfectly highlights the wood's texture. Creates a velvety, touch-friendly semi-gloss surface that strongly repels water. Oils give the paint excellent penetrating properties while creating a fine, highly pigmented film on the surface that preserves the wood's drawing. It is applied directly to raw wood.
The paint contains a combination of UV filters that prevent the degradation of the coating. The surface of the paint film is resistant to mold and fungal attacks, thus preventing their penetration into the wood. Prevents water from penetrating the wood, reduces its drying and cracking. Perfect substrate penetration prevents peeling of the coating. Linseed oil, combined with other plant oils, extends the drying time of the surface. The paint is odorless and has a neutral character. The paint is certified for toys and products for children.

Application:
Socrates Farmer's Paint is applied evenly to a healthy, clean, dry, and sanded surface No. 80 – No. 100, with a brush or microfiber roller in an appropriate layer that, especially on the first coat, soaks in perfectly without wiping off the paint. An adequate amount of paint must always remain on the surface, which is absorbed. Gradually remove excess, unabsorbed paint without creating significant puddles! However, the layer of paint must not be wiped, and MUST always remain in an adequate layer. The next coat is applied after the first layer has dried, which is approximately after 24 hours. Between coats, light sanding with sandpaper No. 100 – 120 can be carried out as needed. Lightly sanding the first coat, removing the fuzz yields a perfectly smooth, pleasant surface.
In the exterior and in humid environments, where there is a risk of wood being attacked by wood-destroying fungi, it is necessary to treat the substrate beforehand with a biocidal product Lignofix E-profi. There must be a waiting period of at least 48 hours between treating the wood with Lignofix E-profi and applying the coating material.
You might need covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering film, or sanding papers. Don't forget brushes and rollers.
