DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 0.3 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the surface treatment standard for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, Part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to UV radiation and weathering, and they resist cleaning products commonly used in households. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and have a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified usage conditions and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, Part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Sb., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Sb., in the valid version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures that ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Working Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify them with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or thinned down DENAS UNIVERSAL in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the wood's absorbency. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood outdoors is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of penetrating agent in 1-2 layers and subsequently with top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be required. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container for at least up to the date stated on the lid.
