DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and show long-lasting performance indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by the MZ ČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in the valid version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures that ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and essential requirements. Validity of assessments is not guaranteed when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2 IN 1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applying 1–2 coats depending on the wood's absorbency. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. It is recommended to protect wood outdoors to a depth with a suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1–2 coats of a primer and then with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and relative humidity up to 70%.
