DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0610 cream, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, plasterboard. It meets the standards for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather conditions, are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and have a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated in Regulation MZCR No. 38/2001 Coll., in its current wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. The validity of certificates is not guaranteed when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metallic surfaces with 1–2 layers of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. We recommend protecting wood in exterior applications to a depth with suitable impregnators with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by coating with 1–2 layers of a primer and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, situations requiring immediate medical attention do not occur. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usable properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid/cap.
