DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0610 cream, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, gypsum board. It complies with the surface treatment standards for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under the prescribed conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product marketed conforms with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of impurities, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anti-corrosion primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint at a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. After that, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Wood in exterior applications should be protected to a depth with a suitable impregnator with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating of 1–2 layers of a penetrating agent, and subsequently with the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coat is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
