Bisil waterproof concrete paint, waterproof, 0100 white, 700 g

Concrete and pool paint. Enamel with increased UV resistance is intended for waterproof coatings of walls of water tanks, silage pits, and swimming pools, also for surface treatment of steel structures and eternit roofs. The paint is certified for direct contact with food, drinking water, and for the surface treatment of toys.

Usage:
The paint is intended for the final finish of surfaces of steel and cast iron objects and structures exposed to aggressive weather conditions, permanent moisture, and long-term underwater exposure. It can be used for waterproof coatings of walls of water tanks and silage pits. Based on the health safety of the cured film of the paint, it is used for protective coatings of swimming pools and bathing areas, in food processing operations with frequent washing and constant humidity. It is suitable for surface treatment of eternit roofs and wooden elements. For concrete, it is used to protect against the penetration of water and moisture. It resists common concentrations of inorganic acids, bases, and some petroleum products of higher fractions (from LTO upwards).

Working procedure:

1. The paint is applied in at least two layers. The optimal thickness of the layers of the cured Bisil under normal conditions is 80-120 microns (3 layers).
2. For long-term underwater exposure, the number of layers is increased to 5 (250 microns).
3. Application is possible by brush, roller, dipping, or spraying. It is always better to apply the first layer with a brush. The subsequent layers are more convenient to spray. During application, it is recommended to observe a pause of at least 4 hours between individual layers under normal conditions. Good curing of previous layers is important. When creating protective coatings on metals, it is essential that the substrate is equipped with a sufficient layer of suitable primer anti-corrosive paint (BILAK Zn Prim, GLASFIX Zn, S2102, S2000, Unipur primer) before applying the paint.

Coverage:
5 - 7 m² /kg of paint in one layer. (This figure is indicative and is significantly influenced by the structure of the substrate and the complexity of the painted object. Theoretical consumption: 0.27 kg of paint/m² … wet layer: 230µm; cured film: 100 µm.

You may find useful covering materials, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or sandpapers. Don’t forget about brushes and rollers.
