DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0510 light green, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing panels, aluminum, some types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under conditions of intended use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, specified by Decree MZČR No. 38/2001 Coll., in valid wording for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure the conformity of products placed on the market with technical documentation and with fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Working procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of corrosion-resistant base DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating of 1–2 layers of primer, followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations which would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: When working, adhere to personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with running water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
