DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0510 light green, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with added silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products intended for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer’s premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of anticorrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protection to a depth with a suitable impregnation containing biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat in 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and then the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with current regulations. The product retains useful properties in the original unopened packaging at least until the date indicated on the lid.
