Coverage:
6 – 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.
Application:
With a roller, brush, spraying Airless and HVLP
Application procedure:
1. For poorly absorbent and extremely smooth substrates (drywall, gypsum fillers, etc.), the priming coat is done with a penetrating preparation UP-GRUND, for very absorbent substrates with A-GRUND or AT-GRUND preparations. If using the paint as a primer, the paint is diluted with water from 0.3 l to 0.5 l to 1 kg of paint according to the application technique used (roller, brush). If the substrate is a non-dusting, poorly absorbent original paint film, priming is not necessary. Layers of old paints with insufficient adhesion should be scraped off.
2. After drying the primer, apply 1-2 coating layers with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water to 1 kg of paint. For new or significantly differently tinted substrates, more coating layers are applied as needed.
You may find covering material useful, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or sanding papers. Don't forget about brushes and rollers.
