Usage of Het Klasic Color:

For interior wall and ceiling coatings, lime, lime-cement, plaster-lime, and gypsum plasters, drywall, cement board, and wood fiber boards, plasters with acrylic binders, repair plasters (meets the requirement of WTA CZ directive no. 2-9-04/D, Table 4 limiting the use of covering layers on repair plasters in terms of vapor permeability), concrete panels and monoliths, paper wallpapers intended for this purpose, fiberglass wallpapers, etc. Also suitable for application on substrates with a combination of, for example, mineral plasters and drywall. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, highly vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion by dry material.

The coated surface should not be in constant contact with water and should not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can withstand temperatures around 70 °C for a short time. The paint is suitable for painting residential and commercial spaces, children's rooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices, retail spaces, etc.

Coverage of Het Klasic Color::
6 – 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Application of Het Klasic Color:
Recommended application – with paint rollers (polyester, polyacrylic, polyamide), brush; small areas - with a brush; large-scale application – by AIRLESS spraying, HVLP. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on the specific equipment beforehand.

Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological contamination (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free from form oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; it can be checked with a pH tester).

Application temperature:
The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Application procedure:

1. The priming coat is performed with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint, or with the penetrating agent A-GRUND or AT-GRUND, in the case of drywall and other low-absorbent or extremely smooth substrates with the agent UP-GRUND. If the substrate is a non-dusting, low-absorbent original coating film, priming is not necessary. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion are recommended to be scraped off.
2. After the priming coat has dried, apply 1–2 covering coats of paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. For new or significantly color-different substrates, more covering coats may be applied as needed.
