Decorative painter's paint REMAL Effect with metallic and pearlescent appearance for decorating modern designs using various painting techniques such as brush or roller painting, spraying, sponging, and using painter's stencils. By combining REMAL Effect colors with tinting pastes, it is possible to create subtle, noble, and artistic wall appearances.

Thanks to endless combinations, the use of various procedures, and the creator's improvisation, each result can be considered an original and unique work of art. The optical properties of the decorative paints (brightness, sparkle, gloss, strength, depth, etc.) will manifest suitably. The final appearance is also influenced by the shade of the substrate used and primarily by the lighting. Details are very effective when light falls on them or when viewed from different directions and angles. By utilizing the light-dark contrast, you achieve a brighter and livelier surface full of freshness.

It is recommended for decorative coatings of all types of mineral plasters, wooden surfaces, drywall, etc. in interiors and exteriors. It is suitable for decorative rollers, painter's lines, etc. In outdoor environments, it can be used only for short-term applications.

Example of a decorative gloss wall painting procedure:

The base must be smooth and crack-free, dry, sufficiently mature, solid, without dust, old coatings, and non-adhering particles. It must be free of biological infestations (mold, algae). Too absorbent, crumbling, or
non-adhering substrates must be pre-treated with a suitable primer such as REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. Biological infestation (mold) should be eliminated with the REMAL Sanal product for wall surfaces V1406.

The base coat of the plaster is done with REMAL paint or REMAL VINYL in various shades. Before application, the paint must be thoroughly mixed. Mild sedimentation is not a drawback. The paint is diluted according to the method of application at a ratio of 1 part paint to 0 – 1 part water. Other surfaces must be protected against contamination. Contaminated areas must be cleaned immediately, as dried paint is difficult to remove. The optimal application temperature is recommended between 15 and 25° C. The optimal humidity is 50 to 70 rel. %. Increased humidity and lower temperatures can significantly affect drying time. Use products from the same batch for continuous surfaces; mix different batches together before use.

Handling with decorative painter's gloss:

When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for painting surfaces that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for painting children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you do not feel well, seek medical attention.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction.
Shelf life The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Dispose of packages with remnants of the product at the location designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.

You may find covering materials useful, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or sanding papers. Don't forget brushes, rollers, paddles, and spatulas.
