The REMAL Ekonomik paint features optically increased whiteness, covering power, and high vapor permeability. The REMAL Ekonomik coating is suitable for painting plasters, concrete, drywall, cement boards, chipboard, and repair plasters in interior spaces. Thanks to its production from natural limestones, it allows for the application of multiple layers.

The coating for walls and ceilings in interiors REMAL Ekonomik is characterized by easy processability. It shows resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 5. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300).

Application procedure for REMAL Ekonomik wall paint:

Before painting with the universal REMAL Ekonomik paint, remove layers of old and non-adherent paint coatings. It is advisable to treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer; for non-cohesive and crumbling substrates, treat with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the paint. The drying time is 4 hours. Even out unevenness on the wall with REMAL filler. Dilute the paint with a maximum ratio of 0.2 l of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.

Apply the paint using a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers; apply the next layer of paint after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting the paint is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not drop below 5 °C during the application of the wall paint. For coherent areas, use a product from one batch of paint; mix different batches together before use.

You might need

covering tools, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, as well as sanding papers. Don’t forget about brushes, rollers, paint edgers, and spatulas.
