Decorative painter's paint REMAL Effect with a metallic and pearlescent appearance for the decoration of modern designs using various painting techniques such as brush or roller painting, spraying, sponging, and using painter's stencils. By combining REMAL Effect colors with tinting pastes, it is possible to create delicate, noble, and artistic wall appearances.

Thanks to endless combinations, the use of various working procedures, and the creator's improvisation, each result can be considered an original and unrepeatable work of art. The optical properties of decorative painter's colors (brightness, sparkle, gloss, strength, depth, etc.) are revealed through appropriate use. The final appearance is also influenced by the shade of the substrate used and, above all, the lighting. Details perform exceptionally well when illuminated or viewed from different directions and angles. By utilizing the contrast of light and dark, you achieve a brighter and more vibrant surface full of freshness.

It is recommended for decorative coatings on all types of mineral plasters, wooden substrates, drywall, etc. in interiors and exteriors. It is suitable for decorative rollers, painter's lines, etc. In outdoor environments, it can only be used for short-term applications.

Example of the coating procedure for decorative gloss on the wall:

The substrate must be flat and free of cracks, dry, sufficiently matured, solid, dust-free, free of old coatings and non-adhering particles. It must be free of biological contamination (mold, algae). Too absorbent, crumbling, or
non-adhering substrates should be pre-treated (strengthened) with suitable primer such as REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. Biological contamination (mold) should be eliminated with the REMAL Sanal product for bricks V1406.

The base coat of the plaster is done using REMAL or REMAL VINYL paint in various shades. Before application, the paint should be thoroughly mixed. Mild sedimentation is not a disadvantage. The paint is diluted according to the method of application in the ratio of 1 part paint to 0 – 1 part water. Other surfaces must be protected against contamination. Contaminated areas must be cleaned immediately, as dried paint is difficult to remove. The optimal temperature for application is recommended to be in the range of 15 to 25° C. The optimal humidity is 50 to 70 rel. %. Increased humidity and lower temperatures can significantly affect the drying speed. Use products from the same batch for cohesive areas; mix different batches together before use.

Handling the painter's decorative gloss:

When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical assistance.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause allergic reaction.
Shelf life The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Dispose of containers with product residues at the location designated by the municipality for the collection of other waste. Further see section 13 of the product's safety data sheet.

You may find covering material useful, such as paper tape or covering foil, as well as sandpaper. Don't forget brushes, rollers, spatulas, and scrapers.
