REMAL Plus High Coverage Wall Paint, 1 kg

The traditional water-based kaolin wall paint REMAL Plus represents a classic natural coating. It stands out with excellent coverage, vapor permeability, abrasion resistance, and achieves a standard whiteness of 86%. This interior paint REMAL is intended for painting walls and ceilings, specifically for plaster, concrete, drywall, fiber cement boards, particleboard substrates, or renovation plasters. The product exhibits wet abrasion resistance according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 – class 5. (classification according to EN 13300).

REMAL Plus painting coating is characterized by easy processability. It is intended for coatings of mineral surfaces in medium-stressed interiors, such as walls and ceilings of bedrooms, living rooms, or hallways, but it is also suitable for offices, schools, etc.

Application procedure for REMAL painting paint:

Before painting, remove layers of old and non-adhering coatings. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer, and treat non-adhering and crumbling substrates with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure coating adhesion. The drying time is 4 hours. Smooth out irregularities on the wall with REMAL Putty. Dilute the paint with a maximum ratio of 0.4 liters of water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.

Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 coats; apply the next coat of paint after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting the paint is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not drop below 5 °C during the application of wall paint. For contiguous areas, use a product from one batch of paint; mix different batches together before use.
