Washable Paint for Walls REMAL Vinyl Matte is a premium white washable paint with a velvety matte appearance, excellent coverage, processability, and abrasion resistance. The surface of the washable paint for walls is completely washable. The paint is intended for painting walls and ceilings in interiors on plaster, drywall, and other substrates. The washable wall paint is non-toxic and suitable for children's rooms.
REMAL washable paint for walls is easy to process, health-safe, and environmentally friendly. It demonstrates washability and resistance to abrasion when wet after 28 days - class 1. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300).
up to 12 m² / 1 kg for one coat.
Old non-adhering paints in thicker layers must be scraped off. Before painting, treat the surface with REMAL deep penetration primer. This will remove dust, strengthen, unify absorption, and ensure adhesion. Drying time is 4 hours. Level wall irregularities with REMAL filler. For touching up stains, e.g. after water leaks, it is advisable to use the isolating primer REMAL Flek-stop. Before use, thoroughly mix the paint, which is diluted for painting. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 5% clean water. Apply with REMAL Vinyl roller with short fibers. The paint covers in one layer. Touch up at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for application is 15 to 25 °C. Clean contaminated areas and tools immediately after application with water; dried paint is difficult to remove.
Method of application for washable paint for walls:
REMAL Vinyl roller with short fibers, brush, AIRLESS spraying - e.g. STORCH AIRLESS ST 550, STORCH AIRLESS ST 700 or STORCH AIRLESS ST 800 recommended pressure from 120 – 150 bar, nozzle size 515 or possibly 517, filter for the gun 50 mesh. When spraying, we always recommend carrying out tests in advance on the specific device.

covering material, such as paper masking tape or covering film, as well as sanding papers. Don’t forget brushes, rollers, paint trays and spatulas.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes the accelerated method for determining resistance to wet abrasion and establishing the washability of paint. Regarding the cleanability of coatings, it only specifies the test method itself but does not specify the contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the coated sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a test abrasion (cleaning) device. From the weight loss, the average value of the thickness loss of the coating is calculated. To determine cleanability, the contaminating substances are applied to similarly prepared samples. Specified contaminating substances are allowed to remain in contact with the paint film for the prescribed time. Coated, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating substance has been removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
For evaluation, 5 classes are used - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst.
