REMAL washable paint for walls is easy to work with, health-friendly, and environmentally friendly. It exhibits washability and abrasion resistance after wet abrasion for 28 days - class 1. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300).
up to 12 m² /1 kg per coat.
Old non-adhering coatings in thicker layers must be scraped off. Before painting, treat the surface with REMAL deep penetration primer. This removes dust, strengthens, unifies absorbency, and guarantees adhesion. Drying time is 4 hours. Level out uneven places on the wall with REMAL filler. For touching up stains after water leakage, it is advisable to use the isolation coating REMAL Flek-stop. Before use, thoroughly mix the coating; it is diluted for painting. If necessary, dilute with max. 5% clean water. Apply using a REMAL Vinyl roller with short fibers. The coating covers in one layer. Touch up after at least 4 hours. The optimal temperature for application is 15 to 25 °C. Clean any dirty spots and tools immediately after application with water; dried coating is difficult to remove.
Method of applying washable paint for walls:
REMAL Vinyl roller with short fibers, brush, AIRLESS spraying - e.g., STORCH AIRLESS ST 550, STORCH AIRLESS ST 700 or STORCH AIRLESS ST 800 recommended pressure from 120 – 150 bar, nozzle size 515 or 517, filter for the gun 50 mesh. When spraying, we always recommend conducting tests on the specific equipment beforehand.

covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, maybe sanding papers. Don’t forget brushes, rollers, spatulas, and scrapers.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes the accelerated method for determining wet abrasion resistance and washability of paint. Regarding cleanability of coatings, it only specifies the testing method itself but does not specify the contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the coated sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a testing abrasive (cleaning) device. From the loss of weight, the average loss of coating thickness is calculated. For determining cleanability, the contaminating substances are applied to equally prepared samples. Specified contaminating substances are allowed to remain in contact with the coating film for the prescribed time. Coated, soiled samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating agent was removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
For evaluation, 5 classes are used - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst.
