REMAL Termokomfort the painter's coating with thermal insulation and anti-condensation effects. It is recommended for coating residential and commercial spaces.
It is used for painting walls and ceilings indoors on plaster, drywall, and other substrates. It is easy to apply, health-safe, and environmentally friendly.
Up to 3 m²/kg in one coat.
It can be tinted with standard tinting pastes e.g. REMAL LIQUID TINTING PAINT or REMAKOL.
Before painting, remove layers of old and non-adhering coatings. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL UNIVERSAL PRIMER, and treat non-adhering and crumbling substrates with REMAL DEEP PRIMER. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure paint adhesion. The drying time is 4 hours. Smooth out irregularities on the wall with REMAL PUTTY. The paint is not diluted for application. If necessary, a maximum of 0.1 l of water can be added to 1 kg of paint. Mix thoroughly. Apply with a roller or brush in 1 - 2 coats, applying the next coat after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 h. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and environment must not drop below 5 °C during application. Use product from one batch for homogeneous areas, mix different batches together before use. Immediately clean any stained areas with water; dried paint is difficult to remove.
When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings coming into direct contact with foodstuffs, animal feeds, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. You may find covering material useful, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil. Don't forget brushes and rollers.
