Interior dispersion white covering paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering power - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is suitable for interior coatings of walls and ceilings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, etc. The paint is suitable for overcoating old load-bearing layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to wear by dry materials. The painted surface should not be in constant contact with water and should not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating briefly withstands temperatures around 70 °C. Shade:
white, tinting can be done with HETCOLOR tinting colors (max. at a ratio of 1:5 parts of paint)

Coverage:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer

Drying time: 
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity

Application:
with a brush, paint rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large area application by AIRLESS spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on the specific equipment beforehand. The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must remain between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological attack (mold, algae), non-saline, grease-free, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester).

Example of application procedure:

1. before application, the paint must always be thoroughly mixed. When mixing, take care to avoid air entering the mass and foaming the paint.
2. the priming coat is applied with paint diluted with 0.5 l of water per 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, the penetrating agent UP-GRUND is used for the priming coat, very absorbent substrates are primed with products A-GRUND or AT-GRUND. If the substrate is cohesive, non-dusting, and has a low-absorbing original coating, no priming coat is necessary. Layers
   of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be scraped off in advance. Stains from leaking water, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine should first be treated with the isolating coating I-GRUND or, in the case of higher intensity, with paint HETLINE IZOL.
3. after the priming coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, depending on the new or significantly different-colored substrates, also more covering coats of paint diluted with max. 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive dilution of the paint reduces coverage and may worsen the properties of the paint.
4. protect all tools against drying out during work breaks and wash with water after use. Immediately wash soiled areas with water, as dried paint is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
