Interior dispersion white covering paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering ability - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is suitable for interior wall and ceiling coatings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, etc. The paint is suitable for repainting old supporting layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for surface coatings that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, moisture-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry material. The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can briefly withstand temperatures around 70 °C. Shade:
white, tinting can be done with HETCOLOR tinting paints (max. in the ratio of 1:5 parts of paint)

Coverage:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer

Drying time:
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative humidity

Application:
with a brush, painter's rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large surface application by AIRLESS spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to carry out tests on specific equipment beforehand. The temperature of the mass, environment, and substrate must be kept between +5 to +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological attacks (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free of form oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester).

Example application procedure:

1. before application, always make sure to mix the paint well. When mixing, proceed in a way that prevents air from penetrating into the mass and foaming the paint.
2. the priming coat is done with paint diluted with up to 0.5 l of water for 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, a penetrating preparation UP-GRUND is used for the priming coat, very absorbent substrates are primed with preparations A-GRUND or AT-GRUND. If the substrate is cohesive, non-pulverizing, and has a low absorbency of the original coating, a priming coat is not necessary. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be scraped off beforehand. Stains from water leaks, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine should first be covered with an insulating paint I-GRUND or, in case of greater intensity, with HETLINE IZOL paint.
3. after the priming coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, and for new or significantly contrasting substrates, according to needs, even more, covering coats with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water for 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive dilution of the paint reduces coverage and may worsen the properties of the paint.
4. protect all tools against drying during work breaks and wash them with water after use. Immediately wash contaminated areas with water; dried paint is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
