Special acrylic lacquer for additional protection of dispersion paints - recommended as a protective lacquer for painting coatings for perfect washability of surfaces, skirting boards, kitchens, etc.
Coverage:
4 - 7 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer
Application:
spraying, with short-haired and rounded edge paint rollers (for acrylic lacquers), brush for water-soluble lacquers. It is advisable to test the application method in advance on a sample of the specific material.
Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological contamination (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free of formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; check can be done with a pH tester). If the substrate is a paint material, it must be cohesive, dry, and sufficiently bound, e.g., with acrylic or polyvinyl acetate dispersion. It is ideal to choose a paint material that falls into class 4 and lower according to ČSN EN 13300. It is not recommended to treat with lacquer on paint materials with low content of dispersion binder, as this would not ensure sufficient adhesion of the lacquer to the substrate and it could lead to the washing out of fillers and pigments into the lacquer during painting. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion or cohesion must be removed.
