REMAL Structure is water-based white paint for walls with coarse grain structure up to 0.5 mm. It is mainly used for imitating the appearance of plaster layers, for painting plaster, concrete, drywall, cement boards, particle boards, etc. in interiors. Due to its specific processing, it is characterized by high coverage and abrasion resistance, with a high whiteness of 88 %.

Application procedure for REMAL Structure:

Old non-adhering coatings in thicker layers should be scraped off. To level out holes, cracks, and uneven surfaces, use REMAL SPACKLE. In larger cracks, it is necessary to remove the non-adhering material and fill them with acrylic sealant, and after it dries, use REMAL SPACKLE to level it. After drying and sanding, the substrate is easier to repaint with painter's paint. For problematic areas (leaky stains, etc.), it is advisable to use the insulating primer REMAL FLEK-STOP. Overly absorbent, crumbling, non-adhering substrates need to be pre-treated (stabilized) with a suitable primer, e.g. REMAL, SOICRAT, or BARLET. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not fall below 5 °C during painting.

The paint should not be diluted for application. If necessary, you can add a maximum of 0.05 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. Mix thoroughly. Apply with a roller or brush in 1 - 2 layers, applying the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is between 15 and 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not fall below 5 °C during application. For consistent surfaces, use the product from the same batch, mixing different batches together before use. Clean soiled areas immediately with water, as dried paint is difficult to remove.

Handling of REMAL plaster paint:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with foodstuffs, animal feed, drinking water, nor for painting children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine, 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-one+, octhilinone (ISO), reaction mixture: 5-chlor-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.

Storage of grainy texture paint:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

You may find protective materials, such as adhesive tapes or protective foils, or possibly sanding papers. Don't forget brushes, rollers, and spatulas.
