REMAL Color is a water-dilutable colored painter's paint with a pleasant scent in attractive shades. It is recommended for painting walls and ceilings indoors, on plasters including restoration works, drywall, and other substrates. It is easy to work with, non-toxic, and eco-friendly.

Wall paint that is easy to clean, shows resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 5. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300).

Example of application procedure for REMAL Color wall paint:

Before painting, remove layers of old and non-adherent coatings. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer, treat non-cohesive and crumbling substrates with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorption, and ensure adhesion of the coating. Drying time is 4 hours. Level unevenness on the wall with REMAL Putty.

The paint can be diluted up to 10% water depending on the application method. Then mix thoroughly. Apply with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, apply the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25° C. The temperature of the substrate and environment must not drop below 5° C during application. Use product from one batch for uniform areas, mix different batches together before use.

Handling the wall paint:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings in direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and children's furniture.

Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

The product is treated with a biocide. Contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine, 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H) -one+, octhilinone (ISO), reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H) -one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.

Washability of paint is practically solved by the standard WET ABRASION RESISTANCE ČSN EN ISO 11998

This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes an accelerated method for determining wet abrasion resistance and washability of painter's paint. Regarding the cleanability of coatings, it only specifies the testing method itself, but does not specify the contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the painted sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a testing abrasive (cleaning) device. The loss in weight is used to calculate the average loss of coating thickness. To determine cleanability, contaminating substances are applied to identically prepared samples. The specified contaminating substances are left for a prescribed time in contact with the paint film. Painted, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating substance has been removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.

For evaluation, 5 classes are used - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst. Grading like in school.
