How to remove stains from walls? REMAL Flek-stop will help you with that. Stains on walls can be solved with a basic covering primer. REMAL Flek-stop is a special water-soluble basic paint for walls for interiors and exteriors designed to isolate stains that appear on the surface when covered with regular interior paint, mainly stains from seeping water, nicotine, smoke, etc.

REMAL Flek-stop is recommended for isolating stains from seeping water, smoke, and nicotine on plaster, concrete, or drywall in both interiors and exteriors, which would otherwise appear on the surface when covered with a regular coating. The paint is easy to process, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.

Example of the application procedure for stain-covering paint:

Before painting the wall, remove layers of old and non-adhering coatings. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer, and treat non-cohesive and crumbling substrates with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust, strengthen the surface, unify absorption, and ensure adhesion of the coating. Drying time is 4 hours. Dilute the paint in a ratio of max. 0.1 l water to 1 kg paint. Then mix thoroughly.

Apply with a brush or roller in 1 to 2 layers, applying another layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. Finally, cover the base coat with one of the REMAL painting colors.

Handling the stain-covering paint:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings on children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause allergic reactions.

Storage of REMAL Flek-stop stain-covering paint:

The product retains its properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in its original unopened container. Store in a dry location at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste:

Dispose of containers with leftover product at a location designated by the municipality for the collection of other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.

You may find it useful to have covering materials, such as paper masking tape or covering foil, as well as sandpaper. Don't forget brushes, rollers, paint trays and spatulas.
