Decorative painter's paint REMAL Efekt with a metallic and pearlescent appearance for decorating modern designs using various painting techniques such as brush or roller painting, spraying, sponging, and using painter's stencils. By mutually combining REMAL Efekt colors with toning pastes, it is possible to create subtle, noble, and artistic wall appearances.

Thanks to endless combinations, the use of various work processes, and the creator's improvisation, each result can be considered an original and unrepeatable work of art. The optical properties of decorative paints (brightness, sparkle, gloss, strength, depth, etc.) will manifest with appropriate use. The final appearance is also influenced by the shade of the substrate used and, above all, the lighting. Details are very effectively highlighted when light falls upon them or when viewed from different directions and angles. By utilizing light-dark contrast, you achieve a brighter and livelier surface full of freshness.

It is recommended for decorative coatings of all types of mineral plasters, wooden substrates, drywall, etc. in interiors and exteriors. It is suitable for decorative rollers, painting stripes, etc. In outdoor environments, it can only be used for short-term applications.

Example of painting procedure for decorative gloss on walls:

The substrate must be even and crack-free, dry, sufficiently cured, solid, free of dust, old coatings, and loose particles. It must be free from biological contamination (mold, algae). Overly absorbent, crumbling, or
loose substrates must be pre-treated (strengthened) with a suitable primer, e.g., REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. Biological contamination (mold) should be eliminated with REMAL Sanal for masonry V1406.

The base coat for plaster is applied using REMAL or REMAL VINYL paint in various shades. Before application, the paint must be properly mixed. Mild sedimentation is not a problem. The paint is diluted according to the method of application at a ratio of 1 part paint to 0 – 1 part water. Other surfaces must be protected from soiling. Soiled areas must be cleaned immediately, as dried paint is difficult to remove. The optimal temperature for application is recommended to be between 15 and 25° C. The optimal humidity is 50 to 70% relative humidity. Increased humidity and lower temperatures can significantly affect the drying speed. Use products from one batch for uniform surfaces; mix different batches together before use.

Handling with painter's decorative gloss:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for painting children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical assistance.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction.
Shelf life The product retains its utility properties for 5 years from the date of production, in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at temperatures between 5 and 25 °C.

Dispose of packaging with residues of the product at the location designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.

You may find covering materials useful, such as paper adhesive tape or covering film, possibly sandpapers. Don't forget brushes, rollers, spatulas, and putty knives.
