REMAL Universal Primer V1307, 5 kg

REMAL universal primer a mixture of water dispersions of macromolecular substances, special additives, and preservatives. It is recommended as a basic primer for absorbent substrates (plasters, wood, etc.) to reduce absorbency while improving adhesion of the top coat with latex or painter's paints.

REMAL primer is suitable as a primer for concrete, primer for masonry, and also as a primer for drywall. It can also be used as a primer before painting and is suitable as a primer for wood.

Example of application procedure for REMAL primer:

The substrate for priming must be dry, dust-free, and clean. Before use, it is necessary to mix the product thoroughly. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two layers (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The top coat can be applied after the primer layer has dried (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The method of applying the primer is with a brush or roller.

Handling with the primer:

When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. Contains a reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

Storage life of the primer:

The product retains its utility properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.
