REMAL deep penetration V1308M, 1 kg

REMAL deep penetration is a toned deep penetrating coating for absorbent substrates. Thanks to very small particles, it penetrates deeply into the treated substrate. The light blue coloring makes it easy to check the applied layer to ensure that no untreated spots remain on the substrate.

REMAL deep penetration properties:

• unification of substrate absorbency before applying paints or facade coatings
• strengthening the surface before leveling floors with self-leveling compounds
• local repairs of masonry and underlying concretes
• surface preparation before gluing tiles and coverings
• coverage depending on the absorbency of the substrate and dilution 5 to 30 m²/kg
• dilution depending on the absorbency of the substrate
• drying of the penetration layer 2 to 4 hours
• substrate plasters, smoothing compounds, concretes, self-leveling compounds, and other absorbent substrates
• environment interior and exterior

Dilution of REMAL deep penetration:

• for highly absorbent substrates, deep penetration is used undiluted
• for absorbent substrates, deep penetration is diluted up to 1:3 (1 part penetration : 3 parts water)
• for non-absorbent and slightly absorbent substrates, diluted up to 1:5 (1 part penetration : 5 parts water)

Example of the coating procedure for deep penetration:

The substrate must be dry, free from dust and dirt. Before use, the product must be properly mixed. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two layers (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The top coat can be applied after the penetration layer has dried (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.
