REMAL Wall Smoothing Compound, 1.5 kg

REMAL Smoothing Compound is a leveling and decorative smoothing compound for interior use with excellent sandability. It is used for unevenly leveling minor wall irregularities (plaster, brickwork, drywall, etc.) in interiors. It is very easy to apply, safe for health, and ecological. Not suitable for jointing tiles.

Yield of internal decorative smoothing compound for walls:

At a thickness of 1 mm, it is approximately 1.7 to 1.9 kg/m², depending on the complexity of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Example of applying decorative smoothing compound on a wall:

Remove old and non-adhering coatings from renovated surfaces. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL UNIVERSAL PRIMER, and treat non-adhering and eroding substrates with REMAL DEEP PRIMER. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, even out absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the coating.

The drying time is 4 hours. The compound is ready for immediate use. It is applied with a stainless steel trowel in 1 or 2 layers with a thickness of 1, 1.5 to 2 mm. After complete drying (24 h), sand with a mesh or sandpaper.

Handling of wall smoothing compound:

When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1), okthilinone (ISO). It may cause allergic reactions.

Storage life of REMAL wall smoothing compound:

The product retains its usability for 5 years from the date of manufacture in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.
