REMAL základ 2v1 malířská penetrační barva, 15 kg

This white water-based interior paint combines the properties of a penetrating primer and a base coat. It significantly reduces the consumption of the top coat, equalizes the absorbency of the substrate and enhances its strength.

It is suitable as a base for REMAL paint coatings. It is recommended primarily for drywall, but it can also be applied to other solid mineral surfaces. It features excellent coverage and a high degree of whiteness. It also makes repainting of intense and vibrant colors easier.

Properties of the penetrating paint:

• easy to process
• up to 11 m²/kg in one coat

Area of application for the penetrating paint:

• substrate of drywall, plasters and other substrates
• indoor environment
• produced in a non-standard white shade
• coloring is possible with standard color pastes, e.g. REMAL LIQUID COLORING PAINT or REMAKOL
• application with a brush, roller, or spraying

Example of coating procedure:

The substrate must be solid, clean and free from dust. In the case of highly absorbent or loose substrates, it is recommended to treat with a suitable acrylic primer – for example REMAL DEEP PENETRATION. This step will remove dust from the substrate, unify its absorbency and ensure adhesion. Drying time for the primer is approximately 4 hours. Level any unevenness with REMAL PUTTY.

If necessary, dilute the paint at a ratio of max. 0.1 l of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly. Apply with a brush, roller, or by spraying in 1 - 2 coats, apply the next coat only after the previous coat has dried. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment should not fall below 5 °C during application. For large areas, use product from one batch; mix different batches together before use.
