It is an interior water-soluble white painting paint combining the properties of a penetrating and a base paint. It significantly reduces the consumption of the final coating, unifies the absorbency of the substrate and increases its strength.
It is suitable for coatings applied with REMAL painting paints. It is especially recommended for plasterboard, but it can also be used on other solid mineral substrates. It has excellent coverage and high whiteness. It can also be used for easier covering of saturated shades.
Properties of the penetrating paint:
Application areas of the penetrating paint:
Example of painting procedure:
The substrate must be cohesive, free of dust and dirt. We recommend treating overly absorbent and non-cohesive substrates with a suitable acrylic penetration - e.g. REMAL DEEP PENETRATION. This will remove dust from the surface, unify absorbency and ensure adhesion. Drying time of the penetration is approximately 4 hours. Even out irregularities with the product REMAL PUTTY.
If necessary, dilute the paint in a ratio of max. 0.1 l of water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly. Apply with a brush, roller or by spraying in 1 - 2 layers, apply the next layer only after the previous layer has dried. The optimal painting temperature is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and environment must not fall below 5 °C during application. For cohesive areas, use a product from one batch, mix different batches together before use.
