REMAL Ekonomik represents a paint with optically improved whiteness, opacity, and high vapor permeability. REMAL Ekonomik paint is suitable for painting plaster, concrete, drywall, cetris boards, chipboard, and renovation plasters in indoor spaces. It is made from natural limestones, allowing for the application of multiple layers.

The interior paint for walls and ceilings REMAL Ekonomik is characterized by easy workability. It achieves wet abrasion resistance after 28 days – class 5. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classification according to EN 13300).

Work procedure for REMAL Ekonomik wall paint:

Before painting with REMAL Ekonomik universal wall paint, remove layers of old and non-adhering paint coatings. It is good to treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer, and non-cohesive and crumbling substrates with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the paint. The drying time is 4 hours. Level out wall irregularities with REMAL Filler. Dilute the paint in a ratio of max. 0.2 l of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.

Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, applying the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting the paint is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not drop below 5 °C during the application of the wall paint. For cohesive surfaces, use a product from one batch of paint, mix different batches together before use.
