REMAL Ekonomik is a paint with optically enhanced whiteness, opacity, and high vapor permeability. The REMAL Ekonomik paint is used for painting plasters, concrete, drywall, cement boards, particleboard, and renovation plasters in interiors. The paint is made from natural limestones, allowing for multiple layers to be applied. Due to its composition, it allows for faster drying. The wall paint REMAL Ekonomik has a whiteness of 94%.
The interior paint for walls and ceilings REMAL Ekonomik is easy to process, health-safe, and eco-friendly. It shows resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 5. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300).

Before painting with universal paint REMAL Ekonomik remove layers of old and non-adherent paint coatings. Absorbent substrates should be treated with REMAL universal penetration, non-adherent and crumbling substrates should be treated with REMAL deep penetration. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorption, and ensure adhesion of the paint coating. The drying time is 4 hours. Even out unevenness on the wall with REMAL Filler. Dilute the coating with a maximum ratio of 0.2 l of water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, applying the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not fall below 5 °C during the application of the wall paint. Use the product from the same batch for cohesive areas, mix different batches together before use.
When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you do not feel well, seek medical help.
The product is treated with a biocide. Contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazin, 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1), okthilinon (ISO). May cause allergic reactions.
covering materials, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, possibly sandpapers. Don’t forget brushes, rollers, and spatulas.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes an accelerated method for determining resistance to wet abrasion and establishing the washability of wall paint. Regarding the cleanability of coatings, it specifies only the test method itself but does not specify the contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the painted sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a test abrasion (cleaning) device. From the loss of weight, the average reduction of the coating thickness is calculated. To establish cleanability, contaminating substances are applied to equally prepared samples. The specified contaminating substances are left in contact with the coating film for the prescribed period. The painted, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating substance has been removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
A scale of 5 classes is used for evaluation - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst. Grading as in school.
