REMAL Expert is velvet matte and bright white paint with an extremely high whiteness of 96 %. The interior paint has excellent covering ability and is also highly breathable, suitable for repair plasters.
The REMAL Expert paint is used for painting plasters, concrete, plasterboard, cement boards, chipboard, and repair plasters in interiors.
The interior wall paint REMAL Expert shows resistance to wet abrasion and is a gently washable paint - measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 - class 5 (classification according to EN 13300).
REMAL Expert wall paint is designed for extremely white coatings in residential and commercial spaces - a representative bright white wall paint. The paint contains an optical brightener that enhances the extremely high whiteness of the paint coating.
Dispersion white wall paint REMAL Expert is extremely white, easy to process, has a velvet matte appearance, is breathable, vapor-permeable, highly covering, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Before painting with REMAL Expert, remove layers of old and non-adhering paint coatings. Absorbent substrates should be treated with REMAL universal primer, non-coherent and crumbling substrates should be treated with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, stabilize it, unify absorption, and ensure adhesion of the paint coating. The drying time is 4 hours. Smooth out unevenness on the wall with REMAL putty. Dilute the paint with a maximum ratio of 0.2 l water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, applying the second layer of paint after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not drop below 5 °C during the application of the wall paint. Use a product from one batch for unified areas of paint, mix different batches together before use.
When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for painting children's toys and furniture. Keep out of the reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical help.
The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine, 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one+, octhilinone (ISO), reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction.
covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or sandpapers. Don't forget about brushes, rollers, paddles, and spatulas.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes an accelerated method for determining resistance to wet abrasion and assessing the washability of wall paint. Regarding the cleanability of coatings, it specifies only the testing method but does not specify contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the coated sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a testing abrasion (cleaning) device. From the weight loss, the average values of the reduction in coating thickness are calculated. To determine cleanability, the contaminating substances are applied to equally prepared samples. The specified contaminants are left in contact with the coating for a prescribed time. The painted, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating substance has been removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
For evaluation, 5 classes are used - class 1 is the best - class 5 is the worst. Grading is like at school.
