REMAL Expert is velvety matte and bright white paint with an extremely high whiteness of 96%. The interior paint has excellent coverage ability and is also highly breathable, suitable for renovation plasters.
REMAL Expert paint is used for painting plasters, concrete, drywall, cement boards, particleboard, and renovation plasters in interiors.
The interior wall paint REMAL Expert exhibits resistance to wet abrasion and is a washable paint – measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 – class 5 (classification according to EN 13300).
REMAL Expert wall paint is intended for extremely white coatings in residential and commercial spaces - a representative bright white wall paint. The paint contains an optical brightener that enhances the extremely high whiteness of the paint coating.
Dispersion white wall paint REMAL Expert is extremely white, easy to process, has a velvety matte appearance, is breathable, vapor permeable, highly covering, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Paint with pleasure - free painting cookbook
Before painting the REMAL Expert remove layers of old and non-adhering paint coatings. Absorbent substrates should be treated with REMAL universal primer, non-adhering and crumbling substrates should be treated with REMAL deep primer. This will free the surface from dust, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the paint coating. The drying time is 4 hours. Even out any unevenness on the wall with REMAL Putty. Dilute the coating in a ratio of max. 0.2 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, applying the next layer of paint after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting the paint is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and environment must not drop below 5 °C during application of the wall paint. For uniform areas, use a product from the same batch of paint, mix different batches together before use.
Observe basic hygiene rules while working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and children's furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you do not feel well, seek medical attention.
The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazin, 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-on+, octhilinone (ISO), reaction mixture: 5-chlor-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-on [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-on [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause allergic reactions.
covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, and possiblysandpaper. Don't forget brushes, rollers, pads, and spatulas.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes an accelerated method for determining resistance to wet abrasion and for determining the washability of paint. Regarding the cleanability of coatings, it only establishes the test method but does not specify the contaminating substances. After drying and conditioning, the painted sample is weighed and subjected to cleaning cycles with water in a testing abrasion (cleaning) device. The decrease in weight is used to calculate the average reduction in coating thickness. To determine cleanability, the contaminating substances are applied to equally prepared samples. The specified contaminants are left in contact with the coating for a prescribed time. Painted, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is evaluated whether the contaminating substance was removed and the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
Five classes are used for assessment - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst. Grading as in school.
