REMAL Expert is velvety matte and bright white paint with an extremely high whiteness of 96 %. The interior paint has excellent covering ability and is also highly breathable, suitable even for renovation plasters.
The REMAL Expert paint is used for painting plasters, concrete, gypsum boards, cement boards, chipboards, and renovation plasters in interiors.
The interior wall paint REMAL Expert shows resistance to wet abrasion and is a gently washable paint – measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 – class 5 (classification according to EN 13300).
REMAL Expert wall paint is designed for extremely white coatings in residential and commercial spaces - a representative bright white wall color. The paint contains an optical brightener, which enhances the extremely high whiteness of the paint coating.
Dispersion white wall paint REMAL Expert is extremely white, easy to work with, has a velvety matte finish, is breathable, vapor-permeable, highly covering, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Before painting with REMAL Expert remove layers of old and non-adhering paint coatings. Absorbent substrates should be treated with REMAL universal primer, non-cohesive and crumbling substrates should be treated with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the paint. Drying time is 4 hours. Even out wall irregularities with REMAL Filler. Dilute the paint with a maximum ratio of 0.2 l water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 layers, applying the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The temperature of the substrate and environment must not drop below 5 °C during the application of wall paint. For cohesive areas, use products from the same batch of paint; mix different batches together before use.
When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for painting children’s toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.
The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazin, 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H) -on+, octhilinone (ISO), reaction mixture: 5-chlor-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H) -on [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-on [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.
covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, possibly sanding papers. Don’t forget brushes, rollers, spatulas, and scrapers.
This international standard ISO EN 11998 describes an accelerated method for determining wet abrasion resistance and washability of wall paint. As for the cleanability of coatings, it only establishes the testing method itself but does not specify contaminants. After drying and conditioning, the painted sample is weighed and subjected to wet cleaning cycles in a test abrasion (cleaning) device. From the weight loss, the average thickness loss of the coating is calculated. To determine cleanability, contaminants are applied to equally prepared samples. Specified contaminants are kept in contact with the coating film for a prescribed time. Painted, contaminated samples are then subjected to cleaning cycles. It is assessed whether the contaminant was removed and whether the coating is resistant to wet abrasion.
For evaluation, 5 classes are used - class 1 is the best – class 5 is the worst. Grading is like in school.
