REMAL Deep Penetration Anti-Mold V1311, 5 kg

Deep penetration anti-mold REMAL V1311 is used for deep strengthening of the substrate, unification of its absorbency, and increasing the surface adhesion before coatings on internal plasters or facades, gluing tiles and pavements, leveling floors with self-leveling compounds, local repairs of base concretes, etc.

It prevents the formation of mold due to active fungicidal components. Due to extremely small particles, it penetrates deeply. The coloration of the penetration helps to lightly color-check the extent of the application to ensure the substrate is not left uncoated. Content of active ingredients: 3-iodo-2-propynyl-N-butylcarbamate (EC 259-627-5) 1.2 g/kg of product.

Mold-Resistant Penetration and Its Properties:

Technical Properties of Mold-Resistant Penetration:

Dilution of Anti-Mold Penetration:

• for highly absorbent substrates undiluted anti-mold penetration is used
• for absorbent substrates the penetration is diluted up to 1:0.5 (1 part penetration : 0.5 parts water)
• for non-absorbent and slightly absorbent substrates diluted up to 1:1 (1 part penetration : 1 part water)
• coverage depending on the absorbency of the substrate and dilution is 5 to 10 m²/kg

Example Coating Procedure for Mold-Resistant Penetration:

The substrate must be dry, free of dust and dirt. Treat areas affected by mold with the REMAL Sanal remediation agent for masonry according to the instructions. Before use, the product must be well mixed. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two layers, depending on substrate absorbency. Apply the topcoat after the penetration layer has dried, within 2 to 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25° C.

Handling Mold-Resistant Penetration:

Observe basic hygiene rules while working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with foodstuffs, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. It contains 3-iodo-2-propynyl-N-butylcarbamate, hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5-triethanol. It may cause allergic reactions. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

Storage of Anti-Mold Penetration:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of Packaging and Waste for Anti-Mold Penetration:

Dispose of packaging with product residues in the location designated by the municipality for the collection of other waste. See section 13 of the safety data sheet for the product.
