REMAL Deep Penetration V1308M, 5 kg

REMAL deep penetration is a toned deep penetrating coat for absorbent substrates. Thanks to very fine particles, it penetrates deeply into the structure of the treated surface. The light blue color of the penetration facilitates visual inspection of the coating to ensure no part of the substrate is left untreated.

REMAL Deep Penetration Properties:

• equalization of surface absorbency before applying facade and interior paints
• strengthening the substrate layer before applying self-leveling floor compounds
• local repairs of underlying concrete surfaces and masonry
• preparation of the substrate before laying tiles and gluing coverings
• deep penetration on absorbent substrates
• coverage depending on the substrate's absorbency and dilution 5 to 30 m²/kg
• dilution depending on the substrate's absorbency
• drying of the penetration layer 2 to 4 hours
• substrate plasters, screeds, concretes, self-leveling materials, and other absorbent substrates

Dilution of REMAL Deep Penetration:

• for highly absorbent substrates, the deep penetration is used undiluted
• for absorbent substrates, the deep penetration is diluted up to 1:3 (1 part penetration : 3 parts water)
• for non-absorbent and low absorbent substrates diluted up to 1:5 (1 part penetration : 5 parts water)

Example of deep penetration coating procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dust and dirt. Before use, the product must be properly mixed. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two layers (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The top coat can be applied after the penetration layer has dried (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.

Covering material such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, as well as brushes, rollers, painting tools, and spatulas may also be suitable for you.
