REMAL universal primer V1307, 10 kg

REMAL universal priming coat is a mixture of water dispersions of macromolecular substances, special additives, and preservatives. The product is recommended as a base primer for absorbent substrates (e.g., plasters or wood) to reduce their absorbency and simultaneously enhance the adhesion of the topcoat with paints or latex paints.

This REMAL primer is excellent as a primer for concrete, primer for masonry, and as a primer for drywall. It is also useful as a primer before painting and is suitable as a primer for wood.

Technical properties of REMAL primer:

• coverage depending on the absorbency of the substrate and dilution 5 to 20 m²/kg
• dilution depending on the absorbency of the substrate 1 part primer to 3 parts water (1:3)

• substrate plasters, screeds, concretes, self-leveling compounds, and other absorbent substrates

Examples of application procedure for REMAL primer:

The substrate for the primer must be dry, free from dust and dirt. Before use, the product should be thoroughly mixed. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two coats (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The top coat paint can be applied after the primer coat has dried (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The method of applying the primer is with a brush or roller.
