
REMAL universal primer a mixture of aqueous dispersions of macromolecular substances, special additives, and preservatives. It is recommended as a basic primer for absorbent substrates (plasters, wood, etc.) to reduce absorbency and simultaneously improve adhesion of the topcoat with latex or paint.
REMAL primer is suitable as a primer for concrete, primer for masonry, and also as a primer for drywall. It can also be used as a primer before painting and is also suitable as a primer for wood.
The substrate for primer must be dry, free of dust and dirt. Before use, the product must be properly mixed. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two layers (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The topcoat with paint can be applied after the primer layer has dried (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The method of application of the primer is with a brush or roller.
When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for use on coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings on children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.
The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at temperatures between 5 and 25 °C.
