
REMAL universal penetration coating is a mixture of water dispersions of macromolecular substances, special additives, and preservatives. It is recommended as a basic penetration coating for absorbent substrates (plasters, wood, etc.) to reduce absorbency while improving the adhesion of the top coat with latex or paint colors.
REMAL penetration is suitable as a penetration coating for concrete, penetration coating for masonry, and also as a penetration for drywall. It can also be used as a penetration coating before painting and is suitable as a penetration for wood.
The substrate for penetration must be dry and free from dust and dirt. Before use, the product must be properly mixed. It is applied with a brush or roller in one or two layers (depending on the absorbency of the substrate). The top coat paint can be applied after the drying of the penetration layer (2 to 4 hours). The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C. The method of applying the penetration coating is a brush or roller.
When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reaction mixture: 5-chlor-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EINECS number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EINECS number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause allergic reactions. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.
The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of production in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.
