REMAL Facade Acrylic Paint White 15 kg

Facade paint REMAL FASÁDA is a modern acrylic facade paint that is washable, breathable, excellent covering, and resistant to weather conditions. It is used for painting lime-cement plasters, masonry, concrete panels, panels made of lightweight materials, břizolit, chipboard, etc.

Technical properties of facade paint:

Example of painting procedure for facade paint:

General conditions that must be followed before painting with facade paint:

• repairing with plaster in outdoor environments is not suitable
• old non-adherent coatings must be removed, for example, with a scraper or high-pressure water
• older substrates must be assessed, non-compliant ones removed and repaired with new lime-cement plaster
• new lime-cement plasters must be allowed to mature for at least one month
• the facade paint application is thin-layered - it copies the substrate, therefore it is recommended to brush or scrub sand grains from the surface after drying of new plasters to prevent shadowing on the unevenly smoothed plaster
• the temperature of the substrate and the environment during work is recommended to be between 15° C and 25° C; painting cannot be done during rain, strong wind, and intense sunlight
• windows, metal parts, and gutters must be covered, as dried paint residues are difficult to remove
• substrates must be dry and mature before starting the painting; it is recommended to check the moisture content of the plaster with a suitable moisture meter before starting the painting
• for painting larger areas, it is recommended to use products from the same batch or mix different batches together, especially concerning color shades
• the combination of different application techniques (roller + brush) must be tested in advance, especially with saturated shades - danger of different color intensity due to the different surface of the paint

Excessively absorbent, crumbling, or non-adherent substrates must first be primed (stabilized) with a suitable primer, for example, REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. In the case of local repairs where it is not possible to wait 4 weeks for the plaster to mature, the new plaster can be treated with neutralizing salt REMAL TELSAL after drying, and after drying, continue with the above-mentioned primer.

Dilute the paint in a ratio of max. 0.05 l of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly. Apply in 2 layers; apply the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. For complete areas, use the product from the same batch; mix different batches together before use.

Handling facade paint:

When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for painting surfaces that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for painting children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical help.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction.

Storage of facade paint:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and paint waste:

Dispose of containers with residues of the product in designated locations for collecting other waste by the municipality. See section 13 of the product safety data sheet for more information.

You may find it useful covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil. Don’t forget brushes and rollers.
