REMAL Acrylic facade paint white 1 kg

Facade paint REMAL FASÁDA is a modern acrylic coating for facades, distinguished by good washability, breathability, excellent coverage, and weather resistance. It is intended for painting lime-cement plasters, masonry, concrete panels, panels made of lightweight materials, brisolites, and chipboard, etc.

Example of painting procedure for facade paint:

General conditions that must be followed before painting with facade paint:

• repairing with gypsum in outdoor environments is not suitable
• non-adhering original coatings must be removed, for example, using a scraper or pressure washing
• the original substrates must be inspected, damaged parts removed, and repaired with fresh lime-cement plaster
• fresh lime-cement plasters must cure for at least one month
• the facade paint creates a thin film that follows the surface; after the new plasters dry, we recommend brushing or sanding off protruding grains of sand to prevent the creation of shadows on unevenly smoothed surfaces
• the recommended temperature of the substrate and surrounding area during work is between 15° C and 25° C; work should not be done in rain, strong wind, or during intense sunlight
• windows, roofing elements, and gutters must be covered, as dried paint is very difficult to remove
• the substrate must be mature and dry before painting; we recommend checking the moisture of the plaster using a suitable moisture meter before starting work
• for painting unified surfaces, we recommend using material from the same batch, or mixing different batches in advance, especially for colored shades
• test combining various application methods (roller and brush) beforehand, especially for intense shades – due to different surface textures, color deviations may occur

Too absorbent, crumbling, or non-adhering surfaces need to be strengthened in advance with a suitable primer, e.g., REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. In the case of local repairs, where one cannot wait 4 weeks for the plaster to cure, the dried new plaster can be treated with REMAL TELSAL neutralizing salt and, after drying, the mentioned primer can be applied.

Dilute the paint in the ratio of max. 0.05 l of water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly. Apply in 2 coats, applying the next coat after the previous one has dried, at least 4 hours later. For unified surfaces, use a product from one batch; mix different batches together before use.

You may find it helpful to use masking materials, such as paper masking tape or covering film. Don't forget also to have brushes and rollers.
