Facade paint REMAL FASÁDA is a modern acrylic coating for facades, characterized by good washability, breathability, high coverage, and resistance to weather conditions. It is intended for painting lime-cement plasters, masonry, concrete panels, lightweight panels, břízolit, and chipboard, etc.

The general conditions that must be met before applying the facade paint:

• using gypsum for repairs in the exterior is not suitable
• the original non-adhering layers of paint must be removed, for example with a scraper or high-pressure water
• the condition of older substrates must be checked, damaged parts removed, and repaired with new lime-cement plaster
• fresh lime-cement plasters must mature for at least one month
• the facade coating creates a thin layer and copies the substrate, therefore we recommend brushing or sanding off sand grains from the surface after the new plasters have dried to prevent shadows on unevenly smoothed plaster
• the recommended temperature of the substrate and the surrounding environment during application is 15° C to 25° C, painting cannot be done in rain, strong wind, and strong sunlight
• thoroughly cover windows, metal elements, and gutters, as dried paint is very difficult to remove
• the substrate must be dry and matured before application; it is recommended to check the moisture of the plaster with a suitable moisture meter before starting work
• for larger cohesive areas, it is recommended to use material from the same batch or mix different batches in advance, especially for color shades
• combining different application methods (roller and brush) must be tested in advance, especially with deep shades - there is a risk of color differences due to different surface structures

Excessively absorbent, crumbling, or non-adhering substrates must be strengthened beforehand with a suitable primer, such as REMAL, BARLET or SOICRAT. If waiting 4 weeks for the plaster to mature is not possible for minor repairs, the fresh plaster can be treated with the neutralizing salt REMAL TELSAL after drying and, after it has dried, the above-mentioned primer can be applied.

Dilute the coating with a maximum of 0.05 l of water per 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly. Apply in 2 layers, the next layer is applied after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. For cohesive surfaces, use the product from one batch, mix different batches together before use.

When working, covering material such as paper adhesive tape or covering film comes in handy. Don't forget brushes and rollers either.
