Washable paint for walls REMAL Vinyl Color Mat is a premium colored washable painter's coating with a velvet matte appearance, excellent coverage, and abrasion resistance. The surface of the paint is gently washable. The coating is designed for painting walls and ceilings indoors on plaster, drywall, and other substrates.

The product is easy to process, shows washability of the paint with resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 1. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300). Application method: brush, paint roller.

Application procedure for washable paint:

Old unstable coatings in thicker layers should be scraped off. Before painting, treat the surface with REMAL deep penetration primer. This will remove dust, strengthen, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion. Drying time is 4 hours. Smooth out irregularities on the wall with REMAL filler. For touch-up of spots, e.g., after leaking, it is advisable to use the isolating coating REMAL Flek-stop. Before use, thoroughly mix the paint, it is diluted for painting. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 5% clean water. Apply with REMAL Vinyl roller with short pile. The coating covers in one layer. Touch up at least after 4 hours. The optimal application temperature is 15 to 25 °C. Clean dirty places and tools immediately after application with water; dried paint is difficult to remove.

Application method for washable paint for walls:

REMAL Vinyl roller with short pile, brush, AIRLESS spraying - e.g., STORCH AIRLESS ST 550, STORCH AIRLESS ST 700, or STORCH AIRLESS ST 800 recommended pressure from 120 – 150 bar, nozzle size 515 or 517, filter for the gun 50 mesh. When spraying, we always recommend conducting tests on specific equipment in advance.

You may find useful

covering materials, such as paper adhesive tape or covering film, possibly sanding papers. Don't forget brushes, rollers, paint trays, and spatulas.
