How to remove stains from the wall? REMAL Flek-stop will help you with that. Wall stains can be solved with a basic covering primer. REMAL Flek-stop is a special water-dilutable primer for walls intended for interiors and exteriors designed to isolate stains, which emerge to the surface when covered with regular interior paint, particularly stains from leaked water, nicotine, smoke etc.).

REMAL Flek-stop is recommended for isolating stains from leaked water, smoke, and nicotine on plaster, concrete, or drywall in interiors and exteriors, which would surface when coated with regular paint.

Example application method for stain paint:

Before painting the wall, remove layers of old and non-adhering coatings. Treat absorbent substrates with REMAL universal primer, and treat non-cohesive and crumbling substrates with REMAL deep primer. This will remove dust from the surface, strengthen it, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion of the coating. The drying time is 4 hours. Dilute the coating at a maximum ratio of 0.1 l of water to 1 kg of paint. Then mix thoroughly.

Apply with a brush or roller in 1 to 2 layers, applying the next layer after the previous one has dried, at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for painting is between 15 and 25 °C. Finally, cover the primer with one of the painting colors from the REMAL range.

You may find covering materials useful, such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or possibly sanding papers. Don’t forget brushes, rollers, paintbrushes, and scrapers.
