BARLET silicone penetration V4018, 10 kg

BARLET silicone penetration is a primer coat for silicone facade paint. It is a primer coat for absorbent plasters to strengthen and improve the adhesion of the BARLET silicone paint. It penetrates into the substrate, reduces its absorbency and fortifies it. It ensures perfect anchoring of the top coat and reduces its consumption.

Properties of BARLET silicone penetration:

Technical properties of penetration under silicone paints:

• coverage depending on the absorbency of the substrate up to 7 m²/1 kg
• for substrates plaster, concrete, aerated concrete
• under silicone facade paints
• interior or exterior environment
• shade of milky colored liquid
• application with a brush or spraying
• do not dilute before use
• use water for cleaning tools.

Example of the application procedure for the primer:

The substrate must be dry and mature. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two layers. Apply subsequent layers only after the previous one has completely dried. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.

Handling with penetration for silicone facade paints:

When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings coming into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and children's furniture. The product is treated with a biocide.

EUH208 Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.

Storage life of the penetration:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in the original unopened container. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste from the penetration:

Dispose of empty containers with residues at the place designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. Further information can be found in section 13 of the product safety data sheet.
