BARLET silicone primer V4018, 5 kg

BARLET silicone primer is a priming coating for silicone facade paint. Priming coat for absorptive plasters to strengthen and improve the adhesion of BARLET silicone paint. It penetrates the substrate, reduces its absorbency, and strengthens it. It ensures perfect anchoring of the topcoat and reduces its consumption.

Properties of BARLET silicone primer:

Technical properties of primer for silicone paints:

• yield depending on the absorbency of the substrate up to 7 m²/1 kg
• for substrates: plaster, concrete, aerated concrete
• under silicone facade paints
• environment: interior or exterior
• shade of a milky liquid
• application with a brush or spraying
• do not dilute before use
• water can be used for cleaning tools.

Example of coating procedure for primer:

The substrate must be dry and matured. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two layers. Additional layers may be applied only after complete drying. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.

Handling with primer for silicone facade paints:

Follow basic hygiene rules when working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide.

Storage of primer:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened container. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of primer containers and waste:

Dispose of containers with product residues at locations designated by the municipality for the collection of other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.
