BARLET silicone penetrating primer V4018, 5 kg

BARLET silicone penetrating primer is a primer under silicone facade paint. The penetrating primer for absorbent plasters to strengthen and improve the adherence of the BARLET silicone paint. It penetrates into the substrate, reduces its absorbency and strengthens it. It ensures perfect bonding of the topcoat and reduces its consumption.

Properties of BARLET silicone penetration:

Technical properties of the silicone paint primer:

• coverage depending on the absorbency of the substrate up to 7 m²/1 kg
• for substrates plaster, concrete, aerated concrete
• for silicone facade paints
• interior or exterior environment
• milky-colored liquid shade
• application with a brush or spraying
• do not dilute before use
• water can be used for cleaning tools.

Example of application procedure for penetration:

The substrate must be dry and mature. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two layers. Apply additional layers only after complete drying. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.

Handling with the silicone facade paint primer:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children's toys and children's furniture. The product is treated with a biocide.

EUH208 Contains reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.

Storage life of penetration:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of production, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at temperatures of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and wastes from penetration:

Dispose of containers with residues of the product at the place designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.
