BARLET universal acrylic primer is used as a primer coat on absorbent substrates (plasters, wood, etc.) to reduce absorbency while improving the adhesion of the top coat with dispersion paint (LATEX, BAKRYLEX EMAIL, BARLET AKRYLÁT, BAKRYLEX LAK). It reduces the consumption of top coats.
It penetrates the substrate, reduces its absorbency, and strengthens it. It ensures perfect anchoring of the top coat and reduces its consumption. It is recommended for painting absorbent, crumbling, or non-cohesive plasters, concrete, aerated concrete, particleboard, and similar surfaces.
Depending on the absorbency and the condition of the reinforced substrate, it can be diluted in a ratio of 1 part primer to up to 5 parts water.
The substrate must be dry and matured. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two layers. Apply additional layers only after complete drying. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.
Follow basic hygiene rules while working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, nor for coatings of children's toys and children's furniture. The product is treated with a biocide.
