BARLET acrylic universal primer V1307, 5 kg

BARLET acrylic universal primer is used as a base primer on absorbent substrates (plasters, wood, etc.) to reduce absorbency while improving the adhesion of the top coat with dispersion paint (LATEX, BAKRYLEX EMAIL, BARLET ACRYLIC, BAKRYLEX VARNISH). It reduces the consumption of top paints.

It penetrates into the substrate, reduces its absorbency and strengthens it. It ensures perfect anchoring of the top coat and reduces its consumption. It is recommended for painting absorbent, crumbly or non-cohesive plasters, concretes, aerated concrete, chipboard and similar surfaces.

Dilution of universal primer:

Depending on the absorbency and condition of the reinforced substrate, it can be diluted in a ratio of 1 part primer to up to 5 parts water.

Example of application procedure for universal primer:

The substrate must be dry and mature. Apply with a brush or roller in one or two coats. Apply additional coats only after complete drying. The optimal temperature for painting is 15 to 25 °C.

Handling of universal primer:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings of children’s toys and furniture. The product is treated with a biocide.

Shelf life of universal primer:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of production, in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste from universal primer:

Dispose of packaging with remnants of the product at the location designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. See also section 13 of the product safety data sheet.
