ETERNAL IN steril is a white washable dispersion paint designed to prevent and suppress biotic invasion of walls in interiors by mold, bacteria, and other microorganisms. It is suitable for places where maximum environmental sterility is desired (operating rooms, hospital areas, food processing facilities, places with high humidity and a great risk of mold and bacteria occurrence). In households, it creates a healthy environment, especially for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. ETERNAL IN steril contains no hazardous or biocidal substances, making it one of the top ecological products on the market.
It is vapor-permeable, odorless, resistant to abrasion when wet and dry, and suitable for application on renovation plasters. It is intended for use on lime, lime-cement, and gypsum plasters, acrylic plasters, concrete, dispersion and silicate coatings, drywall, fiber-cement, cement-bonded boards, and other absorbent substrates.
Processing:
ETERNAL IN steril is applied with a roller, brush, or pad on clean, dry, and cohesive substrates that are aged 4 to 6 weeks, free of lime efflorescence. They must be free of biological contamination; we recommend the ETERNAL mold remover for removing old kaolin and other non-adhering coatings, or degreased with a solution of ETERNAL degreaser concentrate. For substrates with high absorbency, we recommend priming with ETERNAL universal primer or FORTE penetral. Stains from the substrate should be covered with ETERNAL IN stop isolating paint before the actual painting.
ETERNAL IN steril should be properly mixed before use. For dilution, only distilled or demineralized water must be used! Using drinking water destroys the antibacterial effect of the coating! The application is performed at ambient and substrate temperatures ranging from 5 to 25 °C in two steps. In the first step, pour part of the product into a dry and clean container and perform the first coating. This prevents potential dusting of the substrate surface and possible contamination of the product. Do not return the remaining paint to the original container! After the first coat has dried, apply the final coat. Use clean working tools to avoid potential contamination of the product.
Consumption:
0.20 - 0.30 kg/m² for 2 layers depending on the absorbency, porosity, and structure of the substrate.
Coverage:
3.3 – 5.0 m²/kg (priming coat 3 : 1 + 1–2 layers) directly dependent on the preparation and quality of the substrate, layer thickness, and other factors.
Warning:
Use biocidal products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
