DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with silane additives, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior applications.

See declaration of conformity. The product is safe under defined conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and potable water, established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in the applicable wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Work procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosion primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers according to the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting it to a depth with an appropriate impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating of 1-2 layers of primer and then with the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and atmospheric humidity up to 70%

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendations: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure proper ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the lid.
