It is a structural paint for creating decorative effects. Surfaces painted with this paint change due to the impact of light using pearlescent reflections, creating a three-dimensional depth effect. You will achieve perfect visual effects both under artificial light and natural light. Silver Sand Primacol Decorative contains special structural additives that create a pattern resembling sand blown by the wind during application. The product is intended for painting walls and ceilings in interiors. It is ideally suited for living rooms and children's rooms, hallways, as well as conference rooms, restaurants, and hotels. The paint is available in seven ready-made color versions and in a silver base that can also be colored with any Primacol decorative colorants.

Execution of the effect:

Before starting work, cover the unpainted areas and suitably prepare the substrate. The substrate must be: solid, dry, smooth, free from dust, paint, and adhesives. Remove all non-adherent parts and repair any defects.

Next, treat the entire area using a paint roller with a layer of Primacol Decorative Base Coat. It is an emulsion ready for immediate use, recommended for strengthening the substrate, reducing its absorbency, and optimizing its adhesion. A wall with a base coat will be elastic, scratch-resistant, and will have stable absorbency. Allow this prepared surface to dry for 12 hours and then paint it white to unify the color of the substrate.

On the dry surface, apply with a paint roller two layers of Decobase Primacol Decorative paint. This is a water-dilutable paint used as a base for creating decorative effects. It is characterized by very good covering properties and, after drying, forms a coating resistant to abrasion. Start applying the second layer of paint after the first layer has dried, i.e., after about 3-6 hours. Check the dryness by touch. Allow the prepared wall to dry for 12 hours.

Carry out painting work at temperatures >5 °C, avoiding direct sunlight on the painted surface. Thoroughly mix the Silver Sand paint before use. Repeat this activity during work as well. Apply the product with a flat brush. Depending on the expected effect, you can paint vertically, horizontally, diagonally, in a “tree” form, or unevenly. The method of painting affects the obtained decorative effect. Perform the painting in stages, painting smaller sections of the surface at a time (about 1 m2). Be careful to apply the paint in such a way as to create smaller and larger groups of grains as well as free and smooth areas. Note! Plan the creation of the correct pattern carefully in advance. The finished effect will be achieved after 24 hours.

Note! Before starting the actual painting, we recommend first performing a test on a small test area to familiarize yourself with the painting technique and to see how the final visual effect will look. After completing the work, ventilate the room until the smell disappears.

For painting the entire area, we recommend using products from the same production batch. Otherwise, it is necessary to mix the contents of all packages in one container. The color displayed on the packaging may differ from the actual color due to printing possibilities and cannot be a reason for complaint. For precise color determination, ask the seller for a sample with real paints.

The Silver Sand Primacol Decorative paints provide the possibility of realizing various color versions. To achieve interesting decorative effects, the product can be colored by adding the chosen Primacol Decorative colorant to the paint.
