ETERNAL IN silver is a antibacterial paint containing colloidal silver, which creates hygienic coatings that are long-term resistant to bacterial attack. The coatings have the highest possible wet abrasion resistance, do not release harmful substances, and are free of unpleasant odors. ETERNAL IN silver is used for wall and ceiling coatings in interiors with high hygiene and coating resistance requirements (children's rooms, schools, kindergartens, nurseries, healthcare facilities, or food processing plants).
It is suitable for damp and poorly ventilated rooms where bacteria often occur (kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, technical rooms, locker rooms). It is intended especially for lime, lime-cement and gypsum plasters, acrylic plasters, concrete, dispersion, silicate coatings, drywall, fiber cement, and cement-bonded particle boards, and other absorbent substrates.
Field of application:
ETERNAL IN silver is intended for wall and ceiling coatings in interiors with high hygiene and coating resistance requirements, such as interiors of children's rooms, healthcare facilities, schools, kindergartens, nurseries, and food processing plants. ETERNAL IN silver is particularly designed for use on lime, lime-cement, and gypsum plasters, acrylic plasters, concrete, dispersion, silicate coatings, drywall, fiber cement, and cement-bonded particle boards, and other absorbent substrates. For coating a single area, it is recommended to use material from the same batch.
Application:
The paint ETERNAL IN silver is applied to a mature, dry, cohesive, perfectly cleaned, and degreased substrate using a brush, paint roller, or spraying at ambient and substrate temperatures between 5–25 °C. Substrates affected by mold must be (while wet!) cleared of mold and treated with a suitable removal agent such as ETERNAL mold remover. If the mold infestation is caused by moisture condensation (corners, lintels, ceilings), it is advisable to treat these areas with ETERNAL IN Thermo. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with special penetrating agents ETERNAL universal primer or ETERNAL IN silver paint, diluted with water in a ratio of 3:1. Any substrate stains that bleed through the coatings should be treated with an isolation coat ETERNAL IN stop. ETERNAL IN silver should be applied no sooner than 4 hours after the application of the primer. The second coat can be applied after the first coat dries, but not earlier than 2 hours later.
Consumption:
0.20—0.30 kg/m² for 2 coats
Yield:
3.3–5.0 m2/kg directly dependent on the preparation and quality of the substrate
Warning:
Use biocidal products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
